Our friends at Bird in the Hand have kindly offered to cater their brilliant Rotisserie Chooks for us. So join us for an afternoon of drinks, chicken and lawn games at Black Miller.

If you’re vegetarian or prefer not to eat chicken bring a vege or two and we’ll chuck it on the BBQ.

Yes, we would love your children here for the Welcome Party and the Day After.
Yep! Part of why we’ve picked this spot is for the ability to party and dine outside. It can get cold in the evening, so bring a jumper / jacket.
There are plenty of sheltered spots and lounges inside too for those that want to cosy up.
On the day join us for a relaxed drink before the ceremony, drinks and nibbles will be available at Black Miller from 2:30pm. We’ll be playing games on the lawn and hanging by the pool with a ceremony starting at 4:00pm.

If you’re just joining for the ceremony it will start at 4:00pm so be there at 3:55pm by the latest.
Fancy Formal.
…. And what does fancy formal mean?
Cocktail meets formal. Something that you feel fancy and good in but definitely not black tie.
Everything else is as relaxed as you want it to be.
On the day of the wedding we’ll arrange a bus home from the venue leaving at 11:30pm or 12:00am.
The bus will make 3x stops in central Kaikoura so… Where should we stay?
There are plenty of walkable options from where the bus will stop. We suggest staying in central Kaikoura.
There are alternative options such as remote Airbnb’s but you’d have to make your own way home from there.
There is plenty of parking on site if you prefer to drive.
Black Miller has a seperate field for parking so this you will have no problem parking.
